Remuneration governance specialist

A leading global financial services company in London, is looking for a Remuneration Governance Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the whole of the governing process for remuneration including ensuring even application reward governance globally.

Key responsibilities will include:

·         Applying technical knowledge of reward while being aware of strategy in order to make sure there is group wide consistent application of remuneration governance.

·         Responsible for overseeing effective communication of remuneration governance across all divisions.

·         Ensuring that the remuneration governance works with reward frameworks, principles and policies of the company.

·         Must identify requirements for exceptions to policies and ensure that they are facilitated by remuneration governance.

·         Providing advisory service to local remuneration governance teams, advising on technicalities where appropriate.

·         First port of call for reward teams to ensure remuneration governance is properly incorporated in to reward schemes.

·         Partnering with business facing reward team to facilitate the delivery of the remuneration governance teams.

Key skills required:

·         Experience of project management and process design.

·         Extensive technical reward knowledge and the ability to apply knowledge to reward governance scheme.

·         Understanding of remuneration regulation.
