A leading financial service based in London is looking for a HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Advising line manager and employees in respect of any queries with regards to HR policies and procedures. This will include Maternity/Paternity and flexible working requests.

·  Conduct exit interviews, relaying feedback to the relevant line managers.

·   Advising on employee relations issues such as grievance procedures, capability and disciplinary cases in line with internal policies and legislative requirements.

·   Assisting and occasionally leading investigations in grievance and disciplinary procedures.

·   Managing absences, as well as any health related issues in the workplace,  and support employees on their return to work.

·   Operating flexibly as a member of the HR advisory team, providing support in wider department objectives including any training and recruitment initiatives and cyclical processes such as appraisals.

·   Successful candidates will support the HR BP and be able to be proactive with the ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workload accordingly.

Key skills required:

·   Good working knowledge of Employment legislation.

·   CIPD qualified ideally.

·   Skilled in Microsoft applications software.
