We have a fantastic opportunity for a Pensions and  Benefits Manager to join one of the world's premier banks with a truly global presence. Our client is committed to creating opportunities for their associates to fulfill their personal and professional potential.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following areas:

• Policy and plan design for all EMEA Pensions, including benchmarking, efficiencies, review of third party administration arrangements.
• Presenting the Company view to Trustee bodies for multiple UK, Ireland and International plans with liabilities in excess of $1bn (both DB & DC plans).
• Liaison with third party plan administrators with direct responsibility and accountability for the UK & Ireland plans.
• Oversight of administration practices  in non UK/ Ireland locations for EMEA where administration is currently managed at a local level.
• Management of newly created Regional Benefits Governance Committee with responsibility for review of global benefit plans (including non pension), approval for plan changes, deficit correction strategies and production of materials for the  Board.
• Management of the Expatriate Benefits, pension, medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability on a global basis working with the Expatriate team and counterparts in the US.
• Management of a team of 8.
• Liaison with the respective global heads of benefits, Regional HR, Finance and control partners.
• Lead responsibility for review of benefit plans for acquisitions and designing integration into existing platforms.
• Lead benefits person for disposal / divestiture of non core business areas.

The right candidate will have:

• Proven experience working with UK and international pension plans.
• A full spectrum of benefits experience ideally from a financial services firm.
• Management experience.
• International exposure.
