HR Advisor

Our client is a forward thinking business and has a new to market position for a talented HR Advisor to come onboard. You'll report to the Head of HR, and will manage a junior staff member. In this position you'll work closely with College Managers to deliver comprehensive and professional HR support.

You'll be exposed to the following areas:

  • Assisting in the development, administration and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate as a senior member of the HR team and help to formulate HR strategies, policies, plans and processes to ensure that appropriate levels of HR support, advice and guidance are provided.
  • Coach, mentor and develop Managers to enhance their leadership skills and competencies to deal with line management issues of an HR nature.
  • Facilitate mediation cases.
  • Ensure that the policies and procedures adopted in all areas of HR management meet all legal responsibilities, are fit for purpose and, where appropriate, comply with corporate policy.
  • Undertake special projects as advised by the Head of HR. 
  • Promote and maintain good and beneficial working relationships with external organizations.
  • Recognize and manage the needs of users of HR services, both internal and external.
  • Be able to write HR reports and also interpret complex policy in  a simple manner.
  • Be comfortable managing the recruitment lifecycle and also training and development.
