A national company is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional L&D Consultant to bring a new depth of experience to the existing team. Reporting directly to the Head of L&D, this is an absolutely prime opportunity for a dedicated training professional to make their mark. The organisation has recently undergone a series of exciting changes including a number of newly appointed members of the senior management team joining from several blue chip organisations. Taking everything into consideration, there could not be a better time to join this company!

The role includes the full cycle design and delivery of all in-house training courses. You will work closely with the L&D department and Team Leaders to design tailored training courses/ sessions to help target and improve specific needs within the business. The training courses will cover all levels within the business, from inductions for new starters through to specialist coaching for Team Leaders. As well as designing and delivering training, the successful applicant will also be required to evaluate all training, liaising with HR and the wider business to ensure that the training provided is of the highest standard and is well received.

Key accountabilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Influence the HR and L&D strategy
  • Design high quality training materials using leading edge adult learning techniques, that meet individual and business needs
  • Work with the HR & Training Administrator to ensure all training is recorded accurately and appropriate Management Information is produced for effective analysis
  • Act as a contingency for the Organisational Development Manager, fulfilling the roles key responsibilities when required
