My client, one of the biggest names in global financial services, is currently experiencing a huge amount of change and transformation around the way HR partners with the business. Central to this transformation is the role of the Learning and Development function and they currently have several opportunities for experienced Learning professionals to form a team who will hold responsibility for ensuring that Learning strategy is closely aligned with Business Unit strategy.  This is a role largely focused on relationship/stakeholder management rather than transactional L&D activity and successful candidates will need to display significant experience of working with senior management/business leaders on a broad range of development issues/initiatives.

 

Successful candidates are likely to possess most/all of the following experience/behaviours.

 - Successful track record of delivering a suite of Learning  interventions.  A real expertise and passion for  Learning

 - Experience within fast-moving, complex and demanding corporate environments where operational HR issues have to be handled on a large scale, and with a need to multi-task and deal with ambiguity.

 - Experience of working at an operational level in international environments which drive a true international perspective.

 - Experience of managing significant transformation and change programmes across dispersed entities, winning buy-in at the top and driving it against resistance in a global and matrixed environment.  Experience of  -  Demonstrates up to date knowledge of L&D theory and initiatives -  the external environment, the competitive landscape and broad macro-economic trends and an understanding of the use of this knowledge to create competitive advantage

- Demonstrates a compelling communication and presentation style that builds confidence and respect leading to successful collaboration.
