My client, a leading UK private bank, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join their small team - a team who pride themselves on their robust client relationships and excellent delivery to the business.  Customer service is at the very heart of everything the organisation does and therefore suitable candidates will need to demonstrate their commitment to client service in addition to their broad HR understanding.  Supporting a client group of about 150 people, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied role within a supportive, positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

-          Resourcing - ensure that the bank is able to identify and attract key people with the capability to create competitive advantage.

-          Performance and Reward - Build a high performance culture by developing programmes that recognize and reward critical skills, experience and performance.  Ensure that reward programmes are equitable, market-driven and cost effective.  Assist in the salary and bonus review process, including management of all salary review and bonus letters.

-          Employee Relations - Ensure that the relationship between the bank and it's staff is clear and transparent.  Coach and advise managers on a wide variety of issues including performance management, grievances, disciplinaries, sickness and absence management.

-          Prepare and present management information

To be considered for this role, it is essential that candidates possess a broad generalist background, ideally from within the Financial Services however this is not absolutely essential if the right blend of skills and experience are apparent.  Candidates will have experience of advising and coaching managers on a wide variety of people issues
