Our client, a successful European transport company, is seeking a Head of People Engagement as they enter a new period of growth. This position has been created to ensure that employees across the organisation are engaged with the future plans for the business, to support the customer improvement programme and to manage a business-wide change management programme

This will be a stand alone role but you will be working alongside the senior leadership and customer service teams and reporting into the newly created Services People Director.

Your main focus will be on the following:

•Ø      Ensuring that new staff joining are welcomed, engaged and committed to being part of one team

•Ø      Building relationships with internal stakeholders to make sure that people feel connected, informed and motivated about their role in achieving success

•Ø      Developing a change management programme that will ensure all milestones will be  achieved leading up to 2012 ready for further expansion

•Ø      Supporting the customer service team to help build an even better customer focused approach

•Ø      Facilitate an open internal network of feedback disseminating and reporting to managers enabling them to make improvements

•Ø      Create and run a change management panel consisting of representatives from different business areas

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:

•Ø      Strong leadership skills

•Ø      Expertise in implementing employee engagement strategies

•Ø      An appreciation of UK and continental working cultures

•Ø      Experience of running change management programmes

•Ø      Communication skills in English at a high level (French desirable)

•Ø      A customer-facing work background
