My client, a distinct part of an international financial services group, is currently looking to recruit a permanent HR Business Partner to join the small HR team who provide a fantastic, hands-on service to this business of c400. Due to the small nature of the team, it is essential that candidates can demonstrate their willingness to ‘muck-in' and play a key role in delivering both a tactical HR service and input into the broader HR vision.
Key business leaders can be challenging and demand an impeccable service from the HR team however they are keen to work closely on people issues and there is a real willingness to do things the right way. They fully understand the importance of HR to the success of the business and while candidates will need to be resilient in the face of challenges from the business, the real focus is on collaboration and the common goal.
BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the implementation and delivery of cyclical HR activities such as salary review, performance management, talent reviews etc
- Responsible for identifying and diagnosing people requirements and for the implementation of initiatives to meet business objectives.
- Form and maintain effective working relationships with key business unit leaders and support/coach them on people issues.
To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that candidates possess a broad generalist/BP background, ideally gained within the Financial Services, but other commercial organisations will be considered. It would be helpful if candidates have come from a small-medium size company background. Strong knowledge and application of employment law is essential.
