A fantastic opportunity for Learning and Development Manager to join a market leading and globally recognised retail brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of learning and development solutions, and will directly contribute towards the organisations future strategy through understanding and interpreting business requirements.

Confidence to interact with Heads of HR and Business Partners along with key stakeholders is crucial.

Key Accountabilities:

• Understand the company business / Change plan to anticipate all L&D needs.
• Accountable for day to day management of the L&D piece.
• Responsible for managing and controlling budget.
• To manage relationships and liaise with key stakeholders to interpret development needs.
• Effective planning, development & implementation of L&D solutions.

Technical Knowledge and Experience:

• Critical - advanced training and facilitation skills. There is a heavy focus on delivery and hence an excellent track record in delivering technical training across a broad range of business areas and team based training solutions is paramount.
• Retail industry experience is a must.
• Experience of technical L&D Design and Delivery; Frameworks; and evaluation technique.
• Knowledge of Systems training and Technical skill assessment techniques.
• Project management expertise.
• Preferable - one or several professional qualifications or demonstrable experience in: learning theory, Organisational Development, adult education theory and practice, organisational psychology.
