My client is one of the most exciting names in global financial services.  They have a current requirement for a Recruiter to support part of their Infrastructure business in a role that will combine high volumes of operational activity with the need to think strategically and play a vital role in the overall development of recruitment strategy across the firm.  This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate with either agency or in-house recruitment experience with a specific focus on either financial services, operations or technology.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle of an ever changing, varied number of vacancies. This includes taking the initial brief and ensuring the successful candidate joins on day one.
• Develop strong relationships with key recruitment stakeholders and other colleagues internally.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contingent agencies and executive search firms, together with the management of vendor performance.
• Be entrepreneurial in your approach, including actively recruiting candidates and intitiating direct sourcing methods when appropriate.
• Negotiate compensation packages for successful applicants, including ensuring the key stakeholders have approved the recruitment.
• Work with International Assignment team to manage internal candidates.
• Ensure diversity is considered appropriately at all levels of hiring, ensuring execution of diversity recruitment initiatives.

Due to the levels of recruitment and pace of the business, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver under pressure.  Candidates will have the intelligence and flexibility to pro-actively face a wide variety of resourcing issues, often working on highly specialized briefs that require a high-touch service and exceptional influencing skills to ensure that the right candidates are identified and managed through the process to a successful conclusion.  Investment banking experience would be helpful but not essential.
