L&D Advisor

Oakleaf is delighted to be partnering a leading, Leeds city centre, service sector organisation in the recruitment of a talented L&D Advisor. Reporting to the L&D Manager, the appointed candidate will provide invaluable, professional support by identifying learning needs via a thorough understanding of the business' strategy. The role encompasses all aspects of L&D, working with the wider HR function to ensure a high standard of research, design and delivery across the board.

 

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Full project planning within agreed time scales, including research, pilots, communication plans, post implementation reviews etc
  •  

  • Liaise with Business Leaders to establish requirements and time frames
  •  

  • Maintain and enhance the L&D Intranet site to utilise its capability
  •  

  • Support the implementation of 360 feedback
  •  

  • Maintain accurate training records and provide training MI
  •  

  • Provide individual coaching sessions where appropriate
  •  

  • Provide delivery support to the L&D Manager
  •  

  • Support the wider HR team to encourage open, consistent communication
  •  

  • Work on related ad hoc projects
  •  

 

The preferred candidate should be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Practical experience of utilising performance development tools
  •  

  • Fully CTP qualified or equivalent
  •  

  • Confident communicating a senior level
  •  

  • Practical experience in managing projects from interception to delivery
  •  

  • Practical experience in design and delivery of bespoke training and Management Development programmes
  •
