A superb opportunity for an HR Manager to become part of the Head Office HR team of a globally recognisable retail brand. The company requires a HR Manger to undertake a role within the heart of the Business.

The role will have specific accountability for business partnering 2 or 3 core business areas aligning themselves closely to Trading Directors and their leadership teams.

You will deliver the HR Business Partner role to optimise Business performance, through identifying opportunities and developing and delivering effective HR processes and activities. 

Skills:

Organisation Design:

  • Provide cost effective proposals on structure, responsibilities and staff numbers to meet demands.
  • Analyse and understand external benchmarking data
  • Advise the line and support the process for Restructure, TUPE transfers & Redundancy

Building Capability:

  • Support the delivery management of the local Succession Plan
  • Manage the Performance Management system to ensure a full distribution of performance ratings.
  • Recruit new talent and identify bench strength for the future.
  • Monitor and understand reasons for turnover through exit interviews
  • Support the line in the identification and management of Poor performers
  • Provide advise to the line regarding Exiting and Severance
  • Provide clear Career Paths to motivate our top talent

Learning and Development:

  • Internal knowledge of L&D framework
  • Identify the requirements for the local training plan

Specialist Knowledge

  • Expert knowledge of internal HR Policy and Practice
  • Provide business aligned solutions within the policy framework
  • Understand and apply relevant Employment / Reward legislation

You will be an outstanding commercial HR partner having gained experience in a matrix led organisation. Being able to build immediate credibility with senior stakeholders is paramount. Retail experience is preferred. Experience in a large, fast paced and dynamic organisation is a must.
