Key responsibilities

• Responding to day-to-day issues that arise from within the division. Research and respond to questions from managers and employees regarding HR policies, programs and procedures. Advise employees and managers on the administration and interpretation of HR policies, guidelines and philosophy.
• Liaising with managers on new hire offer letters and advising on appropriate remuneration packages.
• Liaising with international mobility team on transfers, expatriates, tax and transfer packages.
• Managing HR database, including data entry, ensuring data integrity and reporting
• Regular data entry and weekly reporting e.g. new joiners, transfers, background check clearance, leavers, headcount management, year end, recruitment activity, etc
• Assisting with administration of annual processes for the region, including compensation, performance reviews and promotions
• Extensive use of MS Excel and regular use of MS Access and Business Objects

It would be ideal if candidates have previously worked in investment banking however this need not be essential if strong academics and a progressive career history to date are evident.  It is essential that candidates have worked in large, complex organizations and understand the challenges of delivering consistent and high quality HR solutions in such an environment.
