Oakleaf is currently partnering a market leading organisation in the recruitment of a talented HR Advisor to join their Manchester Office. A truly global business, they have seen a substantial amount of change and the successful applicant will join an exciting and challenging sector.

A generalist role, this position reports into the senior Business Partner and encompasses all aspects of advisory responsibilities, including:

  • Providing first line advice to client and business units on all HR activities
  • Working closely with line managers to resolve complex ER matters
  • Working closely with the wider business to support organisation change activity  including restructures, rightsizing and relocation of resources
  • Conducting exit interviews where necessary and provide appropriate feedback
  • Support annual talent and reward activity, i.e. appraisals, annual reward reviews, identification of talent, training and development nominations
  • Support and where appropriate lead on HR initiatives and projects across wider areas as required.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Part or fully CIPD qualified
  • Solid generalist experience gained within a fast paced, commercial environment
  • The ability to work autonomously as part of a pro-active team
  • Excellent understanding of employment law and of managing ER case work
  • Well suited to a professional working environment and credible when dealing with senior managers
  • Strong communicator, able to effective negotiate and influence at a senior level
  • Adaptable and flexible in their way of thinking
  • Able to start within a month
