This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery focused, commercial HR Manager to join this small financial institution on a temp-perm basis. The standalone HR Manager will provide advice and guidance on a wide range of HR issues and work closely with the business to ensure that the business and people strategy is closely aligned. Candidates will ideally come from a similar sized organization and stand-alone experience would be great, ideally financial or professional services but this is by no means essential. It’s more important that candidates possess a real breadth and depth of generalist exposure including consolidated experience of managing complex ER issues.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all employee related issues and ensure that policies are regularly reviewed and refreshed.
- Manage the end to end recruitment process, liasing with the business, agencies and prospective candidates at all stages.
- Identify training needs and provide advice on appropriate learning interventions (working with third party suppliers)
- Facilitate and provide guidance to managers on the annual appraisal process.
- Policy development and review.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in balancing the needs of the business with the needs of the individual - the ability to solve problems creatively is a must!
