Our client is a high profile, leading Public Sector Organisation with a cutting edge approach to people management. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Engagement specialist to join their Organisational Development team.
The Key Deliverables of the role are:
- Managing the delivery of all Staff Engagement & Involvement projects as part of the delivery of the People Strategy.
- Manage the planning, implementation and action planning aspects of the bi-annual Employee Opinion Survey and annual mini-surveys.
- Manage the planning and delivery of regular employee engagement forums and channels shaping an active strategy for these forums.
- Ensure the production and implementation of communication and engagement plans underpinning the People Strategy, providing appropriate advice and guidance to HR Specialists.
- Drive, influence and contribute to Corporate Communications ensuring that the Communications programme includes regular co-ordinated communication about Human Resources activity.
- Drive, influence and plan HR wide communication ensuring the delivery of a regular programme of communication, ensuring that Intranet content is accurate, relevant and up-to-date; acting as lead on communication across the HR function.
As the Lead specialist on Employee Engagement and communications you will be the expert point of reference across HR. You will manage senior relationships across the board and lead on the strategy for this area of work, engaging managers and employees at all levels across the Organisation. As the Communications lead you will raise the profile of HR and represent the HR and OD team across the Organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong organisational development / HR generalist background. Experience of communications and ideally employee engagement projects is preferred. The successful candidate will have strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships in order to influence, engage and negotiate at all levels. You will be passionate about employee engagement, with a creative flair and professional, credible approach.
