Our client, based in London is looking for a Talent Development Manager to join a growing, fun and commercially orientated business on a 12 months fixed term contract to support the Head of Organisational Development with the follwing key areas:
Knowledge and Skills Set
- Extensive experience of working in a learning, development or coaching role up to senior management level, which may include a formal learning or coaching qualification
- Flexible, respectful and inclusive management style and proven ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
- Extensive experience of designing, delivering and facilitation of leadership, management and team development initiatives
- Proven line and team management skills
- Excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills
Principle Accountabilities
- Deliver the Commercial Learning & Development Strategy, aligned to the OD & Change Strategy and the long term objectives of the Commercial function
- Deliver the business-wide Succession Planning & Talent Management process and related programmes, processes and initiatives
- Manage the design, delivery and evaluation of the Leadership Excellence development programmes
Succession Planning & Talent Management
- Deliver the business-wide Succession Planning & Talent Management process on an annual basis, and take action to ensure it continues to evolve to meet the ongoing needs of the business
- Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of Succession Plans, Change Plans and Risk Plans and facilitate ongoing development and support to Directors, HOD and line managers
- Design and deliver career management training and tools to be used in conjunction with Performance Management and Succession Planning processes
- Take action to extend the reach of the Succession Planning processes so that they can be used as tools to identify and develop future managers across the 3 countries
Learning & Development
- Design, deliver and manage the Leadership Excellence development programmes, and take action to ensure they continue to add value to the participants and the business across the 3 countries
- Work with the Performance Development Manager to ensure consistency of approach and delivery of all business-wide learning and development activity
- Support managers and HOD in the design and delivery of team development interventions
The successful candidate will be fluent in French and English, have a " can do attitude" and have the ability to build relationships across different levels of seniority within the business.
It is essential that you have a strong background in Talent Management and Learning and Development ideally with an international exposure.
