One of the worlds leading financial institutions is looking for an HR Business Partner to manage the HR relationship with the CEO for this tranche of the business and has overall accountability for delivering the HR Strategy for this business.

As a member of the UK HR Leadership team they contribute towards the development and implementation of the HR strategy for the entire group.

Deliverables:

  • To develop and implement the HR and people strategy in line with business strategy and the wider group HR Strategy .
  • To have overall responsibility for the HR relationship with Executive and Senior Manager population enabling HR to drive value in the business.
  • To provide strategic support and direction for the CEO on HR and wider business issues.
  • To provide leadership, motivation and support for a small team of Business Partners and as a member of the HR leadership team, the wider HR consulting pool.
  • Delivery of HR products and services that deliver solutions to business issues.
  • Driving and embedding the group HR model in your business unit HR
  • Identifying and sponsoring key programmes/projects (both business specific and divisional) which support delivery of the HR UK Strategy.
  • To deputise for the HR Director when required.

General

  • Direct and manage the HR team
  • To ensure that appropriate systems and controls exist within this team and that these are aligned to the broader Group HR systems and controls
  • To consider issues generated by UK HR Leadership team and to contribute to the design of solutions to meet emerging needs in a consistent and efficient manner

Compliance

  • To understand the regulatory regime within which the Group operates. To ensure the HR team work within, and understand, the regulatory regime.

Risk Management

  • To ensure that the financial and operational risks of the HR team are recognised and controlled.
  • To ensure that robust systems are in place within HR to monitor and report financial, reputational and operational risk.
  • To ensure that HR strategies and processes comply with employment and other related legislation.

Staff

  • To ensure that the HR BP's have the skills, competence and training to undertake their roles.
  • To develop, within the HR BP's team, an environment of continuous improvement and personal development of individual members of staff.
  • To ensure that effective communication exists the HR team
